Research Before We Go

I spent a few hours tonight reading about the first places we will be visiting. I usually begin this months before a trip but this year has been full of friends, family,  and most importantly the grand kids!  I'm running behind, but it doesn't matter. It's ALL good.  A shout out of THANKS for the photos of Amsterdam, Madrid and Trujillo that I "borrowed" off Picasa! I'll be taking my own when I get there, of course, but, these helped me define a few goals.  I've set  for these first stops:  Amsterdam:  YES! Partake in that which is legal (even if it's only "second-hand-smoke" in a coffee shop :-)  Madrid:  Paella and Flaminco! Trujillo: Walk those OLD city walls!
